![]() yup fingers are the best wat to remove it, but try not to let it float around the tank after you pull it off or it will spread. I have had good results by adding RowaPhos phosphate remover in my sump it helps remove the food for the algae. But keep in mind that this is a natural progresion of a tank and will get better as the tank matures ( assuming that the tank is a farly new setup ) it took a year for my tank to become stable and algae / problem free
