Maxi Stream Mod

I've done the mod to an aquaclear 402 using a 1445 prop that I ordered directly from Octura out of Illinois. Used a 2" to 1.5" abs coupling for the shroud. Works great and produces a tremendous amount of flow. The only downside is that you have to dremel down the prop so the 402 will turn it, and the pump has to be started out of the water. When started underwater, it will go in reverse every time, even if a stopper is incorporated into the shroud. I'm going to mod my Aquaclear 4000's as soon as I get my larger props in from Octura because the 4000s have way bigger impeller magnets and should be able to produce a ridiculous amount of flow.
