Default Coral Reef Adventure DVD

Just received the Coral Reef Adventure IMAX DVD in the mail yesterday and I have to say that I'm very impressed with it. Not only is it entertaining and has some beautiful shots, but it's also educational in terms of how we are slowly destroying our reefs.

Anyone else seen it?

Kindof. Saw it in the Imax.
Would like to see it again as we got stuck sitting closer to the front and had to constantly turn our heads back and forth to see what was going on at the other side of the screen. That and some kid right behind me yelling most of the time made for a poor watching environment.

The show was "ok." A bit short and not really all that educational if you ask me. More "show" than "go" IMHO.

I have a version of this that is in Windows media high definition. I can't play it smoothly because my system (P4 2.0ghz) is too slow! lol But from what I can make of the jerky frames, the quality is awesome.

Is this the movie that was just at the Imax a few months ago? Where did you get it?
Thanks

Ya need a better video graphics card with lots of memory onboard. Also if you increase your main system memory to 512MB or more, this will help considerably.

Strange! What do you have for RAM and a video card? I have a P4 2.0 with 1GB RAM and a 128MB vid card and can watch everything. Updgrade the RAM and graphics card and you'll be flying along.

Forgot to ask if anyone has seen the BBC documentary Coral Seas? I downloaded this some time ago and liked it so much that I ordered the DVD from Amazon to play at our next club meeting.
