Thanks for the info and question.
The ballast is external, and I hope it doesn't melt but I will look at it again and I will add a second fan.
I want the 400 W as my tank will be hard corals, blue and Green and thought the best way to have and grow are with 400W, if I am wrong please advise as it will be appreciated. If I learn something new every day for the rest of my life, I probably would be ready to have a reef tank when I'm 206 yrs. old.
