Awesome! Was it fairly simple/easy? or hard?

What size of holes?

The hardest part was screwing up my courage. Once I got started it actually went fairly well. I had to drill 8 X 1" holes and 2 X 2" holes. I drilled the holes a little smaller than required and then took a dremel and sanded the rest so I made sure that I got a snug fit. I don't know that I want to do it again but am glad that I did it. I took some pictures that I will try and load into my gallery. They are not much to look at as I still have the protective coating stuff on the tank and am going to leave it on until I finish the plumbing etc.

I believe in the phrase picture's worth a 1000 words and here's quite a few showing plumbing using the 4 way and other OM products.
