does anyone remember that crazy wave "box" made by either tunze or ehiem........... They had a video and the aquarium was generating 3-4 cm waves rolling legnth wise.

I think people on RC were commenting on the silicone seal not being able to last for too long if it ran for over a year with such waves.

does anyone remember the name of this device or who makes it?

I thought I had book marked it but I did not

Cheers,
Vic [veng68]

So does anyone see a downside (besides appearance, which I can somewhat hide and cost) of going with 4 6100 on a controller? I already have 2 of the 6100 and the controller so would just have to purchase the other 2 and 2 more magnets.
I may go and buy a small sheet of 1/2" acrylic today and borrow the hole saw and bit and try drilling that and see how I make out. 10 holes still scares the bejeesus out of me tho.

Why do you need 10 holes with a 4 way oceansmotions unit?

Why not do a couple tunze's and the closed loop?

Personally, I'd drill the acrylic and do the tunze's, but I love overkill

I DID IT........I ACTUALLY DID IT. I drilled my tank - all 10 holes so here we go with the plumbing. Still waiting on a couple of pieces of equipment - skimmer and reactor - but they are supposed to be here this week. WHOOHOOO

I'll try to get pictures later tonight when the neighbor kid comes over to help me get it in the house and up on the stand. I thought about taking pictures as I was going but it's hard to take pictures when you are the only one around.
