I've always found them at Paul's Aquarium, I can drive by there today if it's not too late. It's not too far from where I live and let you know...

Update, I went to both J&Ls and Paul's today...J&Ls did not have peppermints, though they did have cleaners and bloods.
Pauls on the other hand DID have peppermints for 10 bucks each.
Just thought I'd let you know...
