Default Scratch removel on acrylic

I've just sorta finished up my sump and it has a few scratches and a couple glue globs I want to remove.. Does anyone know of a cheap, efficient way to remove these? thanks

HI Adam:
The best way I have found to get rid of scratches it to use VERY fine sandpaper 1500 grit. Buff the scratches with the sandpaper and then move to a polishing material (don't know the name off hand but I can find out from my acrylic supplier)
Thats about it! I will double check with my supplier tommorow and confirm that this is the right procedure. Scratches are VERY easy to get rid of and the cost of supplies should be around $5-10 and it will last a long time.
