IMO, if you want to speed up the cycle the best way is to get some mature live rock and a little live sand
Call me paranoid, but this is a good way to introduce someone else's problems to your tank. Use patience as your tool of choice. You'll be happier in the long run. Waiting isn't really that bad, is it?
