Default Need some lighting advice

Hello

I need some advice from the community at large. My new tank will be a 90gal. 4 feet long and 24 inches deep. Currently lighting will be 2x150W DE MH 10K. Lamps will be about 6-8 inches off the surface. I plan on trying to keep lower light SPS such as Montipora but also clams and acros. Should I look at additional lighting because of the 24 inch depth. Also would 800 watts of MH in 2x400 config be overkill.

Thanks

lonnie

Well, if you're ok with putting the higher demanding species higher up, you should be fine.
As for the 2x400, that's what I run on my 75g, although heat could be an issue for you. I have to run a chiller, but if you're in a basement or something, a fan may be enough.
