Default What am I?

I have at least three of these worm things in my tank. What are they 2" long and are very hard to catch because they hid in the rock! What are they and are they good or bad?

It looks like they are common bristle worms. It depends on who you talk too, whether they are good or bad .
They are part of a clean up crew, eating leftover food and other dead things. Just don't touch them with your bare hands the bristles are very irritating

If there are just a few, that's great. If you overfeed or got lots with your LR, then that's not so good. I let the little ones live, just the big ones I really try to get rid of. I now use those "mucking" gloves from Lee Valley tools to catch & dispose of the worms.
