And to get some water movement behind rocks (dead spots)... Gonna have to try it out...

great idea, just needs minor ajustments to make it even less visible.
Instead of glueing the power head to the magfloat, try gooping the magnets directly to the PH, and seal with silicone to ensure no water gets to the magnets.
Sticking it to the magfloat causes the PH to stick out from the glass just a bit to much.
Thats my 2 cents

Good idea, but

Would the magnet in the magfloat adversleyaffect the magnet in the PH, possibly decreaing the life of the PH or causing an increase in noise and vibration?
