Mantis Shrimp!
A big thanks to Azilla who sent me this guy! . This Mantis is a Peacock Mantis and they are the most common. Mine is about 1.5" long. Now for the pictures.
I will try to get some more later. Also anyone else at the moment have one? Matt

Thanks again! I have now come up with a name. It is Mr.Creosote. Anyone out there know where this is from? HINT: Think Monty Python.

Nice!
I hope that snail shell in the background is empty, as it belongs to a predatory snail that will desimate your entire sanbed

Question for Azilla, where did you buy your live rock? I have an unidentified click and I'm trying to sort out the odds I have a mantis or not.
I thought the peacock mantis was supposed to be found in sand and not in the live rock. |
