Question about pumps

Has anyone every used a pond pump in their reef. I am assuming they should work but I thought I would check if anyone has had any experiences good or bad?. The brand is Laguna.

People have discussed these here in the past - do a Search for "Laguna" or "pond AND pump" and I bet you'll have a few threads to go through.

I think some have tried them with mixed results. One person recommended not using them submerged for SW applications.
