![]() picked up the over flow today and the heater.
drilled the corner tank ![]() ![]() ![]() time to search for a sump I will be having the sump remotely in the back room so i can run a bigger skimmer and a refug aswell now what tye of skimmer folks, looking at the curve 5 but i am still up in the air on what bubble mague. vertex maybe what are your thoughts 60 gal tank maybe a 50-gal sump so a skimmer with 100-120 gal maybe get a skimmer to be rated for 200gal maybe

![]() 50 gallon sump seems pretty big for a 60 gallon tank. My 60 gallon tank only had 15 gallons of water in the sump. Remember you want to leave room for when the pump turns off. You want to match your skimmers rating fairly close to your total water volume, if you go too big you will end up pulling nutrients out of the water too quickly. Reef Octopus makes reliable skimmers that won't break the bank, I'm extremely happy with my 110SS.
