yes, tanks rarely get shutdown when they are looking good. That is just the way of the world.

I had to build the house around the tank. The tank is 9'/4'/3'. Its not going anywhere. But it's made of wood so easy to cut up and remove it. The tank itself is great and healthy. Fish are all huge and fat. The rock and everything is great. No aptasia. Just with a tank that size, the fish, especially the Angel's... was so hard to have everything, fish, lps, sps. The leathers and softies just took over. I love the tank. I just spend 1-2 months of the winter in Thailand and want to start doing 3-4 months. Just having someone feed the fish is difficult, let alone water changes and maintaining it. And if something goes wrong. 2 years ago my r/o unit while on vacation stopped. The pump on it quit. I had a back up regular one. Just to switch the unit cost me $500...to hire a company to do 🙈
