![]() Hi I need to make a correction to my above ad posting -when I wrote the ad I said the net-module worked on the 'intranet' not the internet
but to be honest the net module might not work even on 'intranet' because Digital Aquatics closed last year. The sid works fine on the computer however, and I use windows seven with it. So everything is controllable either via the head unit -or-the computer.. -Les So to recap-the net module component might not be usable at all.. not sure about that part. My net module is not broken unfortunately the Digital Aquatics internet server is no longer up. but having said that... everything works and is poigrammable... just don't count too much on the net-module... unless ofcourse you know something I don't and you can make it work too. -Les |

![]() So apparently accessing the Digital Aquatics program via the internet is still done and below I will describe how to do so...
Simply - -install the MyReef 2.0 software which is included on the compiter connected to your aquarium Digital Aquatics. -turn on and set up windows 'remote assistance' which is included with every windows operating system by default. -log in to your home computer from another computer elsewhere and open the program MyReef and adjust your settings or check your parameters. Those who still have the Digital Aquatics systems running are accessing their systems this way. Most usually just use a cheap second-hand computer for their system (netbooks for instance). The only downside is their is no email alert function but those who are familiar with Digital Aquatics know the email system never really worked relliably anyways. So I suppose one could pay 1200.00 for app access -or- 150.00 and accomplish everything via remote assistance and Digital Aquatics! Thanks for reading.
