Jonathan,
I was hopeing to lure you out  .Do you think that a cable gland and silicone would be enough to prevent leaks in a pressure application like a cannister filter. How would you put a heater inside a cannister filter and have it water tight? Can anyone remind me the name of the electrical supply place in town that has everything from pvc fittings to sockets? I think it is in the Manchester area between Mac Tr and Blackfoot. They might have some ideas. Thanks, - Chad
