The tank has been running for almost 10yrs. 2-3 yrs ago it had a major crash, I still haven’t figured that one out. Anyway it’s been sitting with a skimmer and powerheads running without light ever since.
A month ago a 90% water change, rescaped, sand added, lights turned back on, sump rebuilt to add a refugium were done. 10 days ago a monti cap, a ricordia and a sacrificial acropora were added(it’s doing well, good extension and just beginning to color up). The new lights are under the Christmas Tree. After Christmas the search for frags will begin in earnest, and a few fish will be added.
