What to put under your tank?

I used a rubber mat.
Now I wish I waxed or sealed my wood floor first.
I didn't think of water stuck under mat. Dampness and salt creep

Typically I use wooden frames but I have smaller tanks. Under the glass though I always cut some styrofoam thick enough to keep the plastic frame off the wood so the tank bottom actually sits on the styrofoam and the plastic frame is just off the wood.

Think I found a 4x6 and 3/8 thick rubber mat at fitness depot I may go pick up.
