![]() I would avoid slow transition, fish are creatures of habit not so much know what's best for them they will follow habit. By doing a hard switch they will follow quicker, you may get some spitting for up to a week, but fish are not going to starve themselves. Some fish have never tasted true raw moist fish meal before it's new to them. Always best to do a hard reset on fish this is what Ripleys public aquariumndid and Quebec Aquarium.

![]() Michael,
What is the phosphate content of this food? Also, because of the high nutrient content, is it recommended to feed less? Congratulations on your continued success. ![]()

![]() Excellent question
![]() You are correct you do feed less the Dubai Mall case study showed this with a reduction in food bill per month from $10,000/month to $4,000/month The food has no effects on PO4 the product is not fortified with ash found in the many of other foods, it also contains a Ferrous sulphate monohydrate (a PO4 binder.) Ferrous sulphate monohydrate is a mineral additive. As a blood tonic substance to livestock, it can stimulate the growth of animal's body. source of iron, promotes oxygen-rich blood, immune support. When the likes of Dubai Mall are throwing in over 20Kg a day, a food with a PO4 source would be very detrimental. |

![]() From an expense of $10K to $4k would be enough of an incentive for a business to switch food sources, if the health of the inhabitants could be maintained.
![]() I am interested in further information of the PO4 binder you mentioned. Phosphorous is of course an important macromineral. Thanks
