The best things I could think of were a remote thermometer so he could monitor the temperature from the house. He already has those louvered vents that open at a certain temperature but he likes watching that kind of stuff. Now if they had an app for his phone, he'd love that

The other thing was a mug with his grandsons pic on it, kind of boring but thats the best I could do, probly too late for that as I haven't gotten it made yet

Give him a reef tank and then tell him it's a greenhouse for corals. Something for him to do indoors during the off season.
