![]() so I found out there was something under my my F. maroon cloun fish.
2 days later it became fairly big, it apears like her belly is opening up and something is about to fall out. 2 days ago, I was thinking about eggs, as thy are putting them down each 14 days, but as I never had seen it, and it is becomming worst by the houre, what could it be. dont want to have the fish suffer, so if there is no way back, I want to try to get her out and give her a fast end, but dont know whats happening sugestions !!! ![]() THat does look like a tear in her belly you have to get her out of there and QT till you know what is going on with her she may not be able to lay eggs. She may have tale worm an infection of some kind or even a tumer. You should get her out before the other fish start picking at her.

![]() Jeeze kevin, that looks nasty. Are eggs that big? To me what ever it is seems way too big to be eggs.
I agree tho, I would put her in a quarentine tank before the other fish start picking at whatever they are. |

![]() I didn't say what type of eggs just said they could be eggs. If the are some kind of preditory worm egg then you don't want them in your tank when they hatch. If they are not eggs then my guess would be a twisted intestine or tumer after looking agian. I copied to my desk top and blow the pic up You can not see any type of embreow so I would bet tumer of some sort. Have you seen her pooping regularly?

![]() I'm inclined to agree that those are NOT clownfish eggs. They do seem too large for that. Other that that, I don't have any idea what you are dealing with there. I hope she makes it.

![]() Those are definitely not clown eggs. Clowns have much much smaller eggs. It also looks like that is an opening in the stomach of the fish and not in the genital region.
