![]() Christy I bought a RO unit from Andrew Sheret Co. here in Nanaimo. It is a 50GPD and it cost about $280. It hooks up to the sink so that I can drink the water too. if you just want it to be for you fish tank you can hook it up inline to your tank. They sell a higher GPD unit for a little bit more $$$. They are really easy to hook up if you were doing it yourself.

![]() Yes you can upgrade the membrain but they will run close to 100 bucks for a new one so most time you will get a better deal buying a larger one of the bat. along with the membrain you have to make sure you have the right restrictor in the discharge to give you that magical 4 to 1 waist of water

![]() Hi Christy,
I have not bought through ebay, but as most others mention you definitely want to get at least a 50gpd. I'm already wishing I had bought a 100gpd. I purchased mine through Saltwater connection for $225, I see that they are now $245 or so. If the price is comparable for a 50gpd you may want to take a look at theirs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bagging on ebay, as a matter of fact I just purchased a complete MH set up from a company there! Good luck, Rob |
