110g total here - 75g open top (covered but vented with inlets and exhaust fan) with an open 3/4 full 50g sump
Currently room is 73, tank is 79, and I go through 2g daily; more when it dips below zero C
Summer I think it's about 1g/day - maybe a bit more

And for those with humidity issues, open a couple windows
I leave a couple cracked open all winter for fresh air (older home), and there's no hint of humidity issues anywhere

I'm already planting my veggie seedlings in my greenhouse today with my daughter Felicia. Also moved my citrus tree collection from the front of my home to the greenhouse since the long range forecast shows no more nights below freezing (maybe -1C outside but it should stay above freezing inside the greenhouse.

BTW, back on topic, my 165g with 90% coverage w glass tops and open top 90g wide sump loses about 5g every 3-4 days. My new system with a 30" cube and 2' cube (both with full glass tops) and open 2' x 2' sump loses about 1 gpd. Its the main reason I use glass tops, even if they can be a bit of a pain when working inside the tank.

I was losing a pile of water from my tank 550 gallons water opened top with lots of surface agitation, covered the sump up and it stopped a pile, kinda nuts on how fast you get water droplets forming in the lid.

Yikes! I have been really curious as to how much those big open tops evaporate.
I shall consider myself very lucky to be adding a mere 2 liters every 3rd or 4th day on my 95% closed top 33gl-WOW!

Hey, having your own windows open just a crack won't kill ya
Regardless of -11C, or -28C, a little bit of air doesn't hurt anyone during the winter and, fuel bills aside, well it's just good for your lungs and such

And for the record, my older house has little to no insulation, and needs open windows as we don't have any kind of HRV
The extra fuel costs during the winter are negligable when I don't get stuffed up with stale air/farts
