Is GE silicone I is for reef?

I bought a whole case of 24 tubes SCS 1200 for $116 in Calgary @ Sabic for my 300 build so under $5 a tube.

There's no risk with GE SCS1200. It's what should be used exclusively, unless you can find a comparable. I haven't found one.

I'm with Grizz. I got mine for around $7-8 per tube of SCS1200 but I only bought a few. People stress over what to get and try to cut corners with GEll when everyone should be using SCS1200.

depends on what they're doing. If you're just adding baffles to a sump, or other small job, regular silicone is more than enough. If you're building a tank, then ya, the 1200 is the stuff to use.

Well Brad maybe we should sticky other reef safe silicones like the one you use and the scs1200 so everyone knows....thanks
