![]() Panasonic Lumix TS1 in Underwater mode. Nothing special.
Unfortunately, I lent my camera out 2 weeks ago and just got it back broken. I guess a couple of drops of water must have entered the camera. I was told it was working when they came back. Then they took the mem card out to transfer pics, then put everything back and rinsed it in fresh water. I'm guessing the battery compartment wasn't closed completely when they rinsed it because it died after that. |

When we went to Hawaii last year, I found that many of the snorkel hotspots were fairly barren of coral, and are most likely partially fed waters to entice the fish around (Hanauma Bay). We went to the east coast of Oahu to a tiny beach that was literally the backyards of the residents of Waimanalo Beach. There certainly is coral around, but the waters were quite vast which has the fish quite spread out and not quite as exciting to navigate. ![]() |
