You do know that superstore water is RO but they do not use DI filters. Also, I would be weary of those places as I am sure they do not check their filters that often. I use to do the same thing as you before I bought my RO/DI unit. I measured the water with a TDS meter in one of those jugs one day and found out it was at 50+ TDS.
