Looks great ,as for the CA reactor ,you can tighten those screws with a pair of pliers if need be ,or you can get the other screws from Mike that are same size but flathead so you can use a screw driver to tighten them.
I Would put some silicone gel on the pump's O ring ,or simply silicone it to the casing ,you will never have to open that the pump comes off with the unions ,if you needed to clean it ,& there is 1 year warranty on the pump for replacement (FYI).
The top sponge you have there ,is actually a replacement pad or if you using really small media ,you won't need to use it with large media.
I like the way you hooked up the profilux.
The fans come in a 4 fan & 5 fan version as well.
I do recomend a chiller ,specially for summer time ,however the fans take alot of strain off the chiller & you be using alot less electricity using the fans rather than just the chiller alone.

I just checked those fans are 12v DC & .15 A so very very little energy consumption.

i looked at the 4 and 5 fan units but my restriction was length to mount to the sump. i've researching chillers but our house has central air conditioning and is actually cooler in the summer then in winter so i'm hoping that the chiller will not be needed.

there has not been any leaks aside from a very minor one which i learned something from. i need to figure out a way to get the water out of the reactor for changing media. the only way i could do it to fix the leak was disconnect at the supply pump and actually blow through it to force the water out to a point that i could take the top cap off. i feel kind of stupid now having that extra sponge in there but unless there is an easier way to drain the unit to get the caps off, the sponge will stay in there until i need new media. thanks for the input though jason.

i love the look of the fans as well and they are frickin dead quiet. i'm thinking of using them to mount on my canopy to circulate the air in there and maybe that will help.

For your Ca reactor, each unit and tank is different, but the indicator is measuring the effluent and tank and what rates keeps the levels.

I'm new to reactors but my tank (light load 145g) has been fairly steady the last month at Ca 350, Alk 8.6, with 60 drips, and 20 bubbles/min and no dosing.

Have you seen the trim that Marc has around his view module ,looks awesome.
I think be pretty easy to do & will look great.Of course we be stealling Marc's Idea but It wouldn't be the first time @ least not for me .

marc's trim looks awesome but i'm not good at wood working like him. i was trying to think of something cool to case this viewer in but no ideas so far. i guess the only i could do is copy marcs idea. wouldnt be the first for me either. he is 'guru' when it comes to this stuff
