Thanks everyone.

Nano, I can make frags of the blue zoos if needed, but since the rock is stuck at the bottom it will take a while to do. Pm me if interested.

Muck, I need to get more LR before buying clams, I need to make room in the sandbed.

Alan, your still alive! I'll be at Greg's, hope to see you.

wow..looks amazing.

Why did the other bulb almost bleach your corals? I have a 250watt 14k bulb and my corals just can't seem to keep any color... think switching bulbs might help?

Thumbs up

Lookin' good Danny. Glad to hear you'll be at the meet at my place. That toadstool is pretty groovy. Is that the mother of the frag I got from you last Jan?

Adidas, I thisnk the reason they were starting to bleach is for two reasons. the first being that I upgraded from a 14K 250 watt to a 10K 400 watt system. Because of the spectrum change it equivilated to about a 300 watt jump, bad news. The other thing that I learned from fellow Canreefers is that higher intensity lighting speads up the metatbolic rateof corals. So you must increase your supplimentary dosage, and I couldn't keep up in the end. Since I went back to the 14K spectrum my corals have much more color.

It seems there is a bit of interest in my zoos! I'll try to post closup pics for everyone interested. In the meantime I'll repsond to PM's.

Greg, I'd hardly call it a mother colony but ya, thats the one.

Hey Danny I only called it the mother of the frag not the mother colony,(razz) however I like the looks of it and considering how slow mine grows that is a big mother........my piece is about the size of a loonie after almost a year.
