Hey Ryan,
I have had my 27gl(same footprint as 33gl) running for 7 years and I'm really happy with the results  My tank is a little shorter, which I'm sure is part of the reason why I can keep many SPS corals alive and growing. I would go with the PC's if I didn't already have a nice custom made light hood.
