The point is, do you have a plan?

It is easier to try and control the heat build up on the way up than to get to that 85 or higher and have to quickly bring it down.

I keep my temp at 80 to 81 and my MH will add about .5 each day if nothing is done to control it. I have my Chiller come on at 83 and my lights turn off at 84.

My biggest problem is that the Chiller is not vented to the outside so when it comes on it increases the heat in the fish room which in turn increases the water temp.
