Early in my build I made a skimmate container which in theory was a good idea. But over time. Has not worked to my satisfaction. The lid rusted out after a few overflow issues which now has caused a few stinky messes I care not to repeat in the future.

So I dove into my trunk of goodies. And decided to use an old acrylic sump I acquired way back in 2008. It will be a sealed unit after adding two pieces of acrylic. Drilled in key locations to allow for hookups. This is the old container ![]() This may be the new one ![]()
