Don't get me wrong. As I say, my only QO experience is a 1200 for transfers. And I wasn't recommending a 1262

I don't know how your plumbing is set up.
If you're happy with the QO line why not go with the 6000 then ? J&L has them on sale right now

What about the oversize idea and tee it off ?
