Oh yeah, drilled as you can see 1 3/4" OD & 1 1/4 ID dulkhead and it is 1/2" glass.

TrailFish - I don't think the tank is tempered, I found this site Common Fish Tank Sizes and Characteristics.

nope, its the other way around isnt it?
you cant drill, if the glass IS tempered.
