Evolution...Hobby Wise
I was recently going through my collection of pictures(1000+) of my saltwater tanks and thought it might be cool to see other peoples evolution in the hobby.
I'll start.I personally started with a sumpless 20g.   Then moved into a sumpless 68g.   Then upgraded to my current tank, a 110g display/55g sump.

Neato! I'll play. No digital before 2002. Started in 2001 with a 20gal.

The dinoflagellates would smother everything, I would siphon, lights out, high pH whatever I could think of. I'd finally get rid of them, then the caulerpa would proliferate and I'd go in and prune it. They'd release some sort of substance (I was told it was caulerpines) and the dinos just loved it and they would go to town once again. In the midst of this I lost every coral I had except for the pink pavona and yellow porites which I still have, as the algaes would just smother them out. It was a horrible year and I didn't get rid of the dinoflagellates until I restarted the tank with no sand.

I like how your blue tang can change colors in 2005 he's blue then 2006 he's purple and 2007 he's blue again. I want one for my self.
