Default Seattle - Stores and Aquarium

Anybody been to the Seattle Aquarium? Would it be worth a 2 hour drive each way to see? Also, any really good LFS there? Thanks.

I went recently to the Seattle Aquarium and we had the most fun with the cold water touch-e-feely exhibit, which is much much bigger and cooler than the one at Vancouver. The rest of the aquarium is not that impressive IMO. I'm not sure i'd go all the way to Seattle for the Aquarium though, maybe go to EMP too? Make a day out of it.

I just went their last week. I'd agree that the cold water stuff was pretty neat. I actually quite enjoyed the reef section of the exhibit as well. Quite a few tanks, and their main display tank was quite nice. Everything was very clean and healthy looking.

Did you guys check out any of the LFS? I'm curious to see what kind of stuff is in the States vs here... as well as pricing.

Check out barrier reef in Renton, we just got back from vacation there, it's pretty cool in there. Chronic reefer is okay too, but that's about it. If you are gonna buy stuff there mention you are Canadian, they will offer u no tax. Really friendly staff there and if you are looking for exotic sps or Ora sps, that's the place to be. Btw there is a 500 gallon sps display tank that will make drop your jaw.
