Default First Close-ups - 20g

Small things in the small tank...

Neat little shrooms.

New Year's Splitting (2 mouths come first).

And just hungry...

Christy, thanks - I think the camera grabbed a little too much blue for those shrooms, should be more of a purple. (Wonder how well they frag?)

Ande, thanks for the encouragement. Seeing as Santa didn't get me a Nikon or a Sony...

The pictures are very nice. There is only one problem, that being a person has no sense of scale, so we don't know how big those mushrooms are. And also if we want some.

Ok then, let's give it some scale - the fish is about 3" long, swimming a few inches in front of the mushrooms.

Oh, and if you want some, these ones are spreading.

Got this other cool one from Deb, but it's stuck in a shell for now.

I wonder if they will always stay small. I have some bright red ones that are fine right now, but one time they got completely out of control, and grew the size of a cowboy hat. And remember Tony's purple mutants I even have a few of those, and they too are well behaved. It may well be a lighting thing.
