Default 170G Zoa Dominated Mixed Reef Tank

Tank Specs:
170g Euro Braced Peninsula style 6' by 2' by 22 inches.
Durso Stand Pipe with Internal Overflow
8 54W Tek5 T5 system
29g Sump with 6 inch deep sand bed and Euro Reef 135g
30g Fuge with deep sand bed and Red Mangroves
Soon to be 17g fuge

Recently swapped from a daylight spectrum to a more actinic spectrum (As I saw an interesting post on reefcentral). I'm very happy with the results, in addition with dosing Vit C I have seen increased growth and color.

Picture time:

Loooook at all that butterfly food. Yum yum !!

Seriously though, very nice.

What was this key crucial learning you made regarding more actinic less daylight?

Cool effect! I mean the whole zoo dominated reef thing, its not often you see such a large tank that full of zoos. Well done.
