Default Amphiprion polymnus (Red Saddleback)

Anyone currently keeping this species? If so, any decent reference literature on them? I've only found limited info.

It's like keeping a more aggressive perc.

In terms of aggressiveness, is it towards other species or those of its own kind? I had a pair of percs that would break the water and try to bite if your hand was close enough. However, they only showed signs of aggression when defending a territory. I haven't noticed this with the saddlebacks as of yet.

I had a trio....1 red who was the female and 2 males that were black...they got along well, hosted in a gorgeous blue carpet anemone, and were not horribly aggressive. They were a nice enough species....the female was definitely more aggressive to other fish. The male(s) not so much!

i had a pair that actually hunted in the tank together. the buggers would hunt out the cleaner shrimp. they ate 3 of them over a couple months before the male died and then the female calmed down. the male would scare or push the shrimp out into open water and the female would then grab a hold of the head and then the male would grab the other half and they would shread it to pieces. i hated them. the female is better now though.
