Default Where to buy egg crates

Hey fellow reefers, I was wondering where in Calgary could I possibly get sheets of egg crates for my sump.

Thanks,
Stanley.

Home Depot and Rona sell Egg Crate in the lighting section in big 2'X4' sheets.

LOL, yeah. The first time I ever went into home depot and asked for egg crate a couple staff looked at me like I was nuts until one guy finally knew what I was talking about.

You can find standard white egg crate from most building supply stores...just be sure to stay away from the shiny/silver coloured egg crate...you definately want to stay away from this kind of egg crate because it's not safe for an aquarium applications (toxic).

"Flat black" egg crate looks fabulous if you can hunt some down....it's hard to find but its worth it. The flat black egg crate (the stuff we found anyway) is saltwater safe.....just be sure to research it out if you happen to find some and decide to use it (I don't know if all black egg crate is safe).

All the best,
S.D
