what have you done to your reef tank that you are proud of?

my first DIY - the modded maxijet was actually successful. I was so proud. All it really involved was sawing off the outflow tube and putting it on a wavemaker. I couldn't believe it worked (murphy usually works against me in cases such as these).

I also put a gate valve mod on my Euroreef. I was pretty impressed with myself for awhile after that but still reluctant to cut off all the needles on my needlewheel impeller to do the mesh mod
