Default Moorish Idol

I've had this Moorish Idol for a year now, very healthy, eats everything, mysis, brine, pellets, loves nori on a clip, suggest 5-6 foot tank, he's not huge by any means, medium size, he's started taking a liking to sps, the reason for giving him up.

PM me if interested.

Darnit I wish I lived in Calgary sometimes...I just lost my Moorish Idol...my Purple Tang knifed it really bad and there was no saving him...it ate everything I offered it too....what a beautiful fish!

I'd take him in an instant Wayne if I didn't have Moo. Just out of curiosity, how much are you feeding him ? My tank with the butterflys and Moo eat two full sheets of nori a day, plus mysis, flake and homemade. Whenever they start nibbling, I know I've missed a feeding or two.

Just a suggestion to keep him at bay at least until you find him a new home.

Deb:

Your absolutely right , I have cut back on feeding cause I'm trying to get rid of this bloody wafer algae, Mr. Idol is a pig and has decided to take out a couple of sps, I've just recently loaded up the nori clip again and will keep it loaded till I can find the right home.

Thanks

If I had my 300g up and running I would take him. I have a MI in my 190 that is also a little piggy and eats everything and have noticed the same thing as Deb if I don't feed lots he picks. I have had him since last November. I couldn't put him in my 230 because of my SOB yellow tang.
