Default ro/di unit f'ed

i hooked up my ro/di unit a couple days ago and it says to flush the carbon and other filters (which i think i did wrong, i think i flushed the water thru all the membranes including the ro and di) and flusshed the tank twice. now when i do tds readings i fill a cup and get like 54 then fill another cup get 25 then another 10 then 5 then 0 wtf is up with that?? is this normal?? also the water at first is really cloudy with bubles i think but then it clears up is this normal??

Hey...

For the most part normal, it takes a little bit for the TDS to drop and the system to clear all the little bubbles. Its a break in time, each system is a little different. Takes a bit for the filters to get broken in.

keep flowing water you dont have to use it in your tank but I think it will settle in.

The output of the membrane should be quite low. After running mine for a day tested 6 after the ro, and 2 after the di but then up to 29 after the carbon. Seems to make sense.

Is there a final Carbon Filter for Taste? That will add some stuff back into the water, so it wont be 0. If you have this filter, you can T it off before it for the aquarium water.
