I was just wondering if anyone had success with adding a clam to a 10 week or newer tank. Tank is stable and well past its initial cycle. I do realize this is probly not the best time to add much, but was just curious if it has been done and what was the outcome.

I think as long as you supplied a source of food and Ca was maintained, you would have a good chance...

I put in 2 within the first 3 months and both are doing great. I add calcium and phytoplancton to my tank.

not impossible but normally not done. I find tanks take time to ''settle'' and you get to know all the tweakings of equipment etc,,, what size of clam and type also plays into it. I like adding clams after 3 or more months!
