Default Cleaning filter sock

I just bought one and I like it ! Good place for carbon, phosphate remover and stuff.

But how do you clean it easily? I was kneading away like an old washer woman, is there a better way ?

A washing machine without detergent in warm water with low water setting works like a charm. It doesnt take long with all that agitation.

Oh yah...time to clean the puppy

I can't wash it in the washing machine, that would put all the phosphates back, no? No contamination there?

What if you washed it in the machine and then soaked it in RODI water? Or, filled the machine with RODI and turned on the agitator?

Oh what fun you are going to have with that sock

I only use it occasionaly. Maybe one week out of every 5 or so. I just like it to polish the water every so often. Im from the school that not only does it trap stuff you want out, but also stuff you want to remain.
