Default Is my chocolate chip starfish dying?

New to saltwater hobby. Noticed my chocolate starfish missing chunk from back and end of tentacles. What should I do, or is poor fella on his way out?

im my experience it's gonna go downhill rly fast. As soon as u see it laying in sandbed in a weird posture get it out right away as it will rot fast
