Default Scroll Corals

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone's got any experience with Scroll Corals. Love to keep one but wanna find out if I can keep it alive. Any pics appreciated too! Thanks.

They are nice corals, slow growers. I had mine under lots of light with good flow. (250w 10K - Middle of the tank)

Lost it some time ago due to falling over tho, so no pics.

INCREDIBLY slow growers IMO. I've had mine for at least a year and a half and its probably put about 2mm on it

Yes slow growers especialy if you have low nutrients in the water.

They don't always grow into a scroll.

In my experience they need no special attention. I have a chocolate brown with green polyps. It is a slow grower. As far as feeding goes I also have several LPS so when they get fed I imagine if the SPS wants some it's there for them.

Here's mine. It was about the size of a loonie when I got it a year and a half ago. Its now about four inches across. Its always been healthy and had good polyp extension. I don't do anything special for care, except to keep it up high under good light.

The picture is little dark, coral is more yellow in person. I don't feed anything except my 20+ fish.
They tend to reshape them self according to the light and flow, meaning they die off in one area and regrow toward different direction. Interesting to watch.

Grows slower than other sps but no special care needed other than good flow and light. I tried feeding but it doesn't seem to care.

I've had mine for about 5 months now, and it really hasn't grown that much at all. It hasnt even covered the puck that it came on.
