Default Purple Bush Muriceopsis sp Gorgonian

Snappy has Purple Bush Muriceopsis sp Gorgonian frags on his site. I've been admiring it since I first visited his site a few months ago.

I can't find much info about them. Can someone give me the lowdown? I did read that they are semi-aggressive, but I'm not sure how.

The photosynthetic gorgonians are usually a total slam dunk. Unless you have a polyp nibbler in your tank.

I don't think coral aggression is a big factor usually.

Just get it, you'll like it

The one downside is that gorgonians do shed skin regularly, and sometimes if the skin doesn't slough off easily then it lets cyano start to grow and they can suffocate underneath. So you have to watch for cyano and blow it off or have it in enough current to keep them clean.

Thanks I think I'll see about doing that when we're back from camping.
