Default Easy come easy go

Easy come easy go........

.......(just for Tony ).......I finished my last day at my old daycare job this past friday......and much to my surprise......they gave me a $200.00 gift card to AI which I promptly spent today on fish and fish food

Got another yasha goby (really hope he finds the candy cane pistol and pairs up with it) and I made a window mesh screen/egg create lid to keep him in (no way he's jumping out)

and I got a Kuiteri wrasse (mine is a bit paler then the pic below, but so far seems to be settling in well) I will take a pic of mine when I get around to cleaning the tank glass.

Why not just get a glass top? Glass will block way less light than the egg-crate with mesh on top.

Just so you know ....... I totally hear the sounds of typewriters and such in the background with these tickertape posts ...... it makes it sound more news outlet-ish ....... that's a really cool wrasse ........ I like how it is named after the king of wrasse knowledge ......... I can't wait to see pictures of YOURS once he has settled in ...... nice score! ......

Ditto
If this was a FW tank, I might say different, but I'd rather have mesh and evaporation any day with SW.
Besides, the mesh and eggcrate doesn't block much more light than glass. The walls of the squares are very thin, so there's very little reflection. And glass does block a lot of the spectrum.
The eggcrate is only reflecting white light.
And ... who likes cleaning up salt creep?
